How marketers fit into the process of website content management

 

Malcolm talked about how marketers fit into the process of building a new corporate website and the issues they face in the selection of a website content management system. Issues including:

 - Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
 - Compliance
 - Ensuring brand consistency

Primarily the talk introduced a model for understanding the different work streams involved in a corporate website development or rebuild and on the tasks and responsibilities of different roles, paying particular attention to that of the marketer.
