Niall McCrae, Managing Director
Based at Sigmer’s Stansted office, Niall is Managing Director and co-founder of Sigmer Technologies. Niall oversees the business management and financial areas of the business, and his many years' management and business experience provide the core business skills essential for the company.
Prior to co-forming Sigmer in 1999, Niall spent a number of profitable years working within the insurance industry. He impressively secured a partnership deal with The Direct Insurance Group, and on the back of this accomplishment went on to become the founder partner of highly lucrative 'Ladies Direct', the first female only motor insurance programme in the U.K.
John Archibald, Director of Operations
John’s responsibility for Operations includes Sales, Marketing, PR, Product Development and Legal. John will draw upon his considerable experience of the development and delivery of packaged and bespoke technology solutions to Commercial and Public-Sector organisations in the U.K., Europe and USA. He has spent many years in the industry and has a passion for delivering customer service of the highest level. An evangelist for improving quality and efficiency of business operations, John has lead organisational transformation programmes in a number of complex organisations. Outside of work, John has a passion for sailing and travelling.
Peter Kelly, Technical Director
Peter joined Sigmer at the beginning of 2006 and brings with him over ten years’ software development experience with application and database design and development across web, e-commerce, e-learning and digital television. Prior to his appointment at Sigmer, Pete held a number of senior positions across development, management and consultancy, both in the U.K. and overseas, developing solutions for companies such as Royal Bank of Scotland, Lloyds TSB, Nickelodeon, Big Brother, Teletext, The Football Association and William Hill. Pete holds an MSc in Computer Science and he specialises in Microsoft technologies and delivering high profile, high volume solutions. Outside of work, Pete enjoys mountain biking and surfing.
Tara Diserens née Merison, Marketing Manager
Tara joined Sigmer in 2004 to head the company’s marketing and PR strategies. She has over thirteen years’ marketing experience, the majority of which was spent in the computer software industry, where she worked with high-profile brands including National Geographic, LEGO and Cosmopolitan. Tara is experienced with working both nationally and internationally, having launched software products in Turkey, Israel, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland. Tara worked for a short while at Lastminute.com, managing their restaurants and eating out section.
